COVID-19 Outbreak Impacts At Least 14 People At Local Middle School

What’s happening?

A 12-year-old student was hospitalized after a COVID-19 outbreak that affected 14 people at Cherry Hill Middle School. The school principal dismissed students early on Monday as a result of the outbreak.

Is the school going to shut down?

Baltimore City School officials have not decided whether or not to close the building long-term, according to a CBS Baltimore report on Sept. 27. They said they are working to identify all close contacts and determine the impact on the affected classes.

Anything else I should know?
