Baltimore City Schools Releases Recovery Plan To Get Students Back On Track

What’s happening?

Baltimore City Schools released a multi-year recovery plan called “Reconnect. Restore. Reimagine,” which was developed with input from faculty, students, their families, and communities. The plan is rolling out after reports that Baltimore High School Students with GPAs below 1.0 doubled during the pandemic

What does the plan include?

The recovery plan details:

  • Practices for staff to advance and personalize learning for students.
  • Opportunities for academic, athletic, wellness, and artistic growth for students.
  • The school system’s plans to build trust and continue to work with students, parents, and community members.

Anything else I should know?
